Carmela Occhipinti, Co-founder and Managing Director of Cyberethics Lab., is a political scientist, researcher, and innovation manager. She graduated in International Law and worked for 24 years as the Head of the Security and Privacy Lab in a large ICT company. She holds PMP, ITIL Expert, PRINCE2, and SCRUM Master certificates and is a member of the Italian Chapter of the International Information Security System Certification Consortium (ISC)2. She teaches legal privacy framework and its application as well as a lot of project and service management courses in private and public firms. She is scientific researcher in several European projects, especially in the security field, covering roles such as Project Coordinator, Technical Director, Innovation Manager, Dissemination Manager, and Ethical Manager. During the last years, her research interests have moved to privacy and data protection issues. She supports partners in managing ethical and privacy concerns in European boards for H2020 projects.
