Business Development Manager, Anritsu

Biography

Dr. Ing. Enrico Brinciotti oversees EMEA business development and marketing at Anritsu for the wireless, radiofrequency, and microwave product lines. He owns a PhD in Physics from JKU University of Linz (Austria), a full-cycle degree in Nanotechnology Engineering from Sapienza University (Italy), and he is a 2024 Executive MBA candidate at SDA Bocconi. Enrico has 12+ years of experience in the electronic test industry across the whole value chain: from R&D to Sales. He’s with Anritsu since 2017. Before Anritsu, from 2013 to 2017 Enrico worked in Austria at Keysight Technologies (USA) in R&D, field applications, and business development. He also worked in R&D at Philips (Netherlands), from 2012 to 2013.

Focus on 5G:

Field activities: at Anritsu, Enrico manages the 5G field test trials across EMEA, from initial planning to final installation and maintenance. He also works with European regulators and authorities on both electromagnetic exposure, interference mitigation, and spectrum clearance activities.

Radio design & test: Enrico manages the technical engagements with key European O-RAN stakeholders, helping them overcoming test challenges during the innovation development phase. He is also responsible for supporting customers on 3GPP 5G-NR radio test activities at both FR1 and millimeter-Wave frequency bands.

Beyond 5G:

Key technologies such as sub-THz frequency devices and bands, full duplex transmission, AI/ML in the air interface, dis-aggregated and virtualised networks, all-photonic networks, and (green) energy efficiency are all central themes for networks beyond 5G that are expected to create new measurement requirements. Anritsu is participating in multiple projects and consortiums to help define and shape the future telecoms technologies, and the related measurement requirements.
