Chief Information Officer, IGT PLT and CEO SED Multitel

Roberto Saracino, is Senior Vice President of IGT PLC. In the role of CIO and CEO of SED Multitel (an O.L.O. company of the IGT Group) he is responsible at Group level for the development and the strategic plan of Corporate and Business ICT infrastructures and for Cybersecurity.

Before joining IGT, Roberto Saracino worked in the Poste Italiane Group as Head of the Corporate Information Systems Development and IT Coordination Function of the Companies of Poste Italiane Group.

Previously, he was CIO at AlmavivA, with responsibility for IT strategies and operations, in Unicredit Group first as Head of Infrastructure Architecture and subsequently as CSO of Unicredit Global Information Services and CISO for the entire Group and in Telecom Italia Group he covered many managerial positions such as Head of Engineering, Technical Delivery and Control Room, Head of IT Infrastructural Services – Market and Director of E-Business Solutions for Milan Region, Head of CNA (Centro Nazionale d’Assistenza).

Saracino is graduated in Information Sciences and collaborates with the University of Milan-Bicocca in the “Services and Telecommunications Systems” courses as adjunct professor.
