Head of 5G Engineering and Business Development, Italtel

Silvia De Fina joined Italtel in 2017, with the responsibility to accelerate the development of a competence center on radio engineering and to manage offering and delivery of the related projects.  Graduated with honors in Rome in 1986 in Electronic Engineering, she then obtained a PhD in Information and Communication Engineering that allowed her to start her career in Research and Development and Strategic Consulting. From 2001 to 2017 she worked at H3G, later merged into WindTre, where he held various roles in areas ranging from Technical Regulation and Network Engineering to Innovation and Business Development. The roles recently held at Italtel range from the direction of nation-wide network planning, to support network operators such as Open Fiber, up to the Open RAN System Integration. Active within the Associations’ Community, she is currently member of the “Quadrato della Radio”.
